Another healing modality that I’ve used to aid and assist in my healing is a rebounder.
Like all of the tools that I incorporated, my end goal was to be able to move my lymphatic system. Out of all the systems in the body, the lymphatic system is one system that doesn’t move on its on which can cause it to be stagnant and lose its flow. Walking, running, dry brushing, full body vibration plate and rebounding are all ways to move this very important system.
Using my rebounder, or mini-trampoline as some call it, has also helped with autoimmune diseases. These benefits include improved lymphatic circulation, which aids in detoxification and immune function; enhanced cardiovascular fitness without excessive strain on my joints; increased balance and coordination; and reductions in stress and anxiety, which has been extremely beneficial as I restore my body back to homeostasis. In addition, rebounding has provided a gentle exercise option that boosts my mood and energy levels.
The low-impact nature of rebounding has helped improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being while I try to eradicate the symptoms associated with autoimmune diseases.
I’m told by rebounder enthusiasts that 10 minutes on the rebounder can equal a 30-to-40-minute run. Now that’s remarkable.
